Surf Check Late 5.30pm Noosa Heads Main Beach

Slipped down to have a look at the beach, it may have been overcast but it was serene down there and the energy just right ! The slightest hint of a new swell picking up at First Point. Who knows maybe tomorrow. Had a nice moment today a family discovering surfing for the first time this week came in to say goodbye,  they fly home to New York tomorrow. I had said to dad yesterday, surfing ” it’s a life thing ” healthy and therapeutic there’s nothing like sitting out there, worlds away and settling the days thoughts. That’s that energy. Anyway, I digress , dad lets me know he is so sore but warmed in many ways by this family holiday and his daughter is ” now not going to stop” and ready to seek out any waves she can in the Montauk area.  She was so jazzed, he shakes my and says thanks, some days really are diamonds !

Grommie his dad was pushing him into waves and off he went wound up like a spring clock all the way down the point. He was loving kiddom !
