Late Surf Check 5.00pm Noosa Heads

A great day of waves, tide timing important there was a lot of water spilling into the bay so high tide filled right up late in the day. The swell was still big enough to produce quality waves but definitely low tide bombs the go. Granite bay was almost out of control rough n windy. Ti-Tree solid bombs 4ft plus off the back rock a lot of bump, Sean Stevic took a couple of Big Hits in amongst some wild backhand slices. Shannon Neil Slipped into some large drops off the back of the rock, vertical lip bashes on the way by, coming through unscathed. Dean Brady totally in control on the larger ones, casually precise banks off the top almost surgical. National park loaded up with crew but Boiling Pot turned it on with some deep tube time and some horrendous face plants on the rock shelf. Through the car park not hollow but a fully workable wall to paint your picture. First Point had the form today with plenty of sand and holding through all tides at 2-3ft . Much smaller but clean and all class. The swell prediction is larger tomorrow, the rip was ON so get your paddling arms on if the direction stays the same. All worth the effort. Hopefully, the rain will take a hike so wet today. See you in the line up bp.
