It’s a grey bluepaddock out there today, shadowing a big blow set for this afternoon. The corduroy is stacked to the horizon and you can feel the energy . Wind is cold light WSW and open beaches are clean, nicely brushed. There arent a lot of banks just random peaks, paddle out ok as we come into high tide at 9.30am, low is 3.30pm. There are 4ft sets out there and then a random larger one or two. The guys out were getting a few, the paddle into todays waves looked difficult. The west wind will hold for a while, places like Coolum Beach will be 3ft and ok today. This swell will take its time to get into Laguna bay but will get there, its solid and will be one of the more powerful swells this year. it almost has a dark foreboding feel. There are very small lines at Noosa and this will change throughout the day. Happy Hunting bp.
